It’s estimated that 5% of adults in America struggle with ADHD, and only 1 in 5 of those adults are properly diagnosed or treated. It’s easier to see in some, and much harder in others as over time they may develop coping strategies to keep up with others, but without proper treatment, this can often lead to burnout that can have long-term consequences. ~25% of adults treated for alcoholism also struggle with ADHD.
